Dalian Women’s Tennis Open Is to Greet Female Tennis Players from All Over the World Again in September

       The 2017 Dalian Women’s Tennis Open (WTA 125K Series) will be held from September 4th to 10th in the TEBON Securities Dalian Tennis Center (Dalian Sports Center – Tennis Center) , when over 50 female professional tennis players from over 20 countries and regions will meet in Dalian to fight nearly 60 breathtaking matches.

       The WTA125K Series of this year is divided into seven stops, i.e, Zhengzhou, China (April 17th), Bohr, Croatia (June 5th), Dalian, China (September 4th), Hua Hin, Thailand (November 6th), Limoges, France (November 6th), Taibei, China (November 13th), Honolulu, Hawaii (November 20th). The prize money of the event is 125 thousand US dollars. The event will include women’s singles and women’s doubles. The Women’s Singles Champion will win 20 thousand US dollars, while the Women’s Doubles Champions will win 5,500 US dollars. All players qualified in each round will obtain their accumulated WTA World Ranking Points and prize money. The points for the Women’s Singles Champion will go as high as 160 points, which is 40 points higher than that awarded to the Top 16 of China Open and other crown class events and 30 points higher than that of the Top 32 of the Grand Slams. This event is graded higher than the top ITF events. Tennis stars such as Yankovic, Zheng Saisai, Shevedova, Garcia, Babos, etc, have all had the experiences of winning the championship in the WTA124K Series.

       It is known that, with an Indoor Tennis Training Hall containing 3 courts, 14 courts for preliminaries and training purposes, 2 courts for semi-finals, each capable of accommodating 1000 spectators, and 1 court for finals that can admit 10 thousand spectators, the Sports Center has the capacity to host the world’s top-class tennis events under all weathers. So far the Dalian Women’s Tennis Open has been held for two years in a row, with over 80 professional female tennis players from more than 40 countries and regions playing in the matches and over 20 thousand tennis fans showed up to watch their performance. Up to now, Chinese tennis players Zhang Shuai, Peng Shuai, Wang Qiang, Duan Yingying and Zheng Saisai, all ranking among the top one hundred players in the world, have played in the Dalian Women’s Tennis Open, with Zheng Saisai once winning the title of Singles Champion. The preparation and organization of the event in the Dalian Stop has been highly evaluated by the WTA officials, Chief Referees, players and their retinue, and Dalian Sports Center has impressed them with a lot of beautiful memories.
