On April 15, 2017，the matches of National Youth Men's Football League (hereinafter referred to as "Youth Super League") Northeast Division kicked off atDalian Sports Center, and the event will run throughout the year to select young football elites.

       Youth League 2017 has three age groups of games for U16, U15 and U14 with a total of 87 teams (including 20campus football teams) and more than 1,700 players participating. The competition consists of three parts, namely, regional home and away games, the national finals and the reserve force trials, which will run more than 600 games throughout the year. According to the registration of all the teams, this year’s event is divided into six regions including northeast, north, central, east, south and west regions, while the northeast region consists of Dalian Football Association, Liaoning Football Association, Shenyang Football Association, Changchun Football Association and Yanbian Football Association, and Dalian Football Association has sent 8 teams to participate in all three age groups, with the number of teams ranking first in the country.

       What is worth noting that in this new event,all the games of the first stage of the age groups of U14 and U16 will adopt the home and away double cycle system, which is closer to the professional competition system, can enhance the concentration of competition atmosphere, and also enhances the psychological and physical exercise of the children; another highlight is that the teams of this Youth League are not limited to the professional football club echelon, U series teams and campus football teams, and it is more open to the national school teams, which not only offers the players an opportunity to learn and exchange, but also promotes the flow and exchange among the players from the teams of different levels. The event is an innovation of the Chinese football reserve talent training mechanism, a deep integration of sports and education, and a milestone in the history of Chinese youth football.

       According to the schedule, after the first stage of the eventends in September, the finals ofthe second stage of the regional event will kick off in October. In order to enhance the enthusiasm of the players and the participating units, the teen-age excellent players emerging from the second stage of the event will participate in thethird stage reserve force elite trials at the end of this year. Finally, a total of 23 players will form an elite selection team, of which five must be registered players from the campus football teams. Chinese Football Association will also award the corresponding "athlete level" certificate to the best players, and the players with such certification will benefit from further education and other issues.

       As a "national youth football training center", Dalian Sports Center will cooperate with Dalian Football Association to provide attentive and thoughtful service and quality venuesfor the event, andcomplete security work to ensure the success of the games.
